Ogden is hosted the 2013 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Monday during a special ceremony, as the grand Engelmann Spruce makes its way across country from Washington State to Washington, D.C. The tree will be harvested from the Colville National Forest in northeast Washington State. Ogden business members, U.S. veterans and schoolchildren will participate in a ceremony to honor what's often referred to as "The People's Tree." The tree makes a stop next at Spanish Fork on Tuesday.
